Kelsey Ó Ciardha is an author and illustrator of children’s books.

A self-taught traditional artist, she spent over a decade as an art director and graphic designer in the marketing world helping companies find their voice, before deciding that what she really wanted to do was use her own. That, and a bona fide business reason to frequent the art supply store.

Kelsey lives on the teensy coast of New Hampshire with one supportive and patient husband, two preschoolers, and two kitty-cats. She spends most of her free time mentally preparing herself for nap time or agonizing over what to make for dinner. When those are behind her she loves to read, watch Masterpiece Theatre, or make her next travel plans.
